Coconut oil, Lauric acid and Monolaurin

Around 50% of the fatty acids in coconut oil are Lauric acid a 12-carbon medium chain fatty Acid.
In addition, when coconut oil is enzymatically digested, it also forms a monoglyceride called monolaurin.
Both lauric acid and monolaurin can kill harmful pathogens like bacteria, viruses and fungi.
This is a direct benefit of consuming and applying organic coconut oil based products on the skin. ‬

Simply Pure

  1. I’ve heard about coconut oil pulling for ages yet never tried it till “simply pure organique” advised me to as I had swollen gum and tooth ache and it really helped ease the pain and calm the swelling.
